Originally from New Orleans, I moved to Nashville in 2001 to attend Belmont University, where my interests in art, writing and people began to converge into a lifelong focus on communication and storytelling. I studied art history in Florence and later worked as a copywriter at an advertising agency in the U.K., an experience that taught me the craft and discipline of writing professionally. I went on to build a career leading creative and strategic communications work for organizations across the country. My projects have earned Addy, Telly and PRSA awards, but what drives me most is helping organizations understand and express who they are and why they matter.

Over the past two decades, I’ve conducted more than 2,000 interviews with leaders, advocates and community members, giving me a grounded perspective on what motivates people and how stories can inspire connection and change.

I now live in Fort Collins, Colorado, with my family. Outside of work, I’m a lifelong reader, fly angler and furniture maker.
